FOR THE CLASS
THE 49ERS WILL DO
EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO KEEP TO KEEP JIMMY GAROPPOLO

On Halloween day the 49ers traded for Jimmy
Garoppolo. The team record was 1-7 when he joined. Garoppolo didn’t start right
away, once C.J Beathard got hurt on week thirteen, coach Kyle Shanahan took his
shot on Jimmy Garoppolo and Garoppolo did not disappoint. The 49ers did not
lose a single game with Garoppolo as the starter. The 49ers team and fan base
were feeling great the way Jimmy Garoppolo ended the 2017 season with a 5-0
since Colin Kaepernick left, the 49ers have been looking for a franchise
quarterback. After the Patriots traded Jimmy Garoppolo to the 49ers for the
second-round pick. Garoppolo went 5-0 with 1560 yards, seven touchdowns, and
five interceptions. So, it made since for the 49ers to give Garoppolo a payday.
The 49ers are going to do everything to keep Garoppolo and they have to after
Kaepernick left. After Kaepernick left, 49ers let the horrible (4-27) Brain
Hoyer and C.J Beathard take over, but the 49ers were starting to look as bad as
the Cleveland Browns.
John Lynch told ESPN reporter on his season-ending news conference that he
wants Garoppolo to be with the 49ers for very long time and they are excited to
get this deal done. Lynch also said he wanted the negotiations to remain
internal, and wants to avoid Garoppolo from being a free agent in March. When
John Lunch was asked should Garoppolo get payed like a franchise quarterback,
he seemed okay with it. Lynch also said that Garoppolo got some great abilities
and the 49ers want her in San Francisco. The worst-case for the 49ers would be
using the franchise to extend their chances of signing him. With the deadline
being on March 6, the 49ers don’t have a long time for negotiations left, but
John Lynch and the 49ers do not think it will be necessary to put a franchise
tag on Garoppolo. The 49ers and Garoppolo have had conversations, and 49ers
know where Garoppolo stand, and they feel good about it.
Now the big question is, is Garoppolo going to
be worth it?
This relates to management
because the 49ers are trying to keep a good asset to their team. The 49ers are
also thinking of their operational and situational management because they want
Jimmy Garoppolo to be part of the team for a very long time.
