Synopsis:             

TheSPP2  first Healthy Canada Conference: Personalized Health and
Wellness will be held at The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Toronto Ontario,
from March 27 to 28, and will bring together experts and stakeholders from across
Canada, including physicians, pharmacists, Health Canada representatives and
other professionals on the national health network to present and discuss the
newest innovations about precision or personalized medicine.
This
approach will allow the patients to get better results with custom made
treatments and will decrease the public health costs by 20%.
Team
Gaia has been selected to be the Project Manager for this event, with an
$260,000 budget approved to cover all the expenses, having Lundbeck Canada as
the main Sponsor of the Project.

Purpose/Business Need:

The purpose of the event
is to apply innovation to health and wellness. The customers that mostly
would be attending are the adult group. They would be getting knowledge about
healthy food and have to improve diet for healthy lifestyle to maintain their
proper growth and vitality. They would be receiving information about what
impact a various health care and different pharma strategy could have on the
health of Canadians. The conference will have variety of interactive
workshops about common challenges and creative solutions to improve Canadians’
health and productivity. 

Product Description and
Deliverables:

Team
Gaia will provide all related documentation of the management of the event 5
days prior to its beginning, all necessary stakeholders and services as well
as any products or equipment’s required will be hired, rented or acquired
before the delivery of the final documentation.
In ScopeSPP3 :
Plan
and send flight tickets as well as Hotel reservations and transportation
from/to airports/hotel to all the presenters of the event.
Coordinate
audio/video/media/lighting with external stakeholders.
To
develop an agenda for the entire event.
Collect
written or email confirmation from the presenters.
Develop
a Marketing plan and design and distribute promotional material.
Create
a safety plan for the event including evacuation procedures.
Review
of the Foods/Drinks with the hotel.
Organize
certificates to be delivered at the event.
Decoration.

 
Out of Scope:
Creation
of a website.
Handling
the waste.
Book
security staff.
Check
insurance.

Conference Board of Canada will deliver the final list of the presenters at
least 45 days prior to the event.

presenters will be accommodated in the same hotel the conference will be hosted.

Gaia will receive the first deposit of 40% of the total budget 60 days before
the event.
No
additional entertainment will be required at the event.
