“People are always getting ready to live, but never live.”
Make a connection.
Make a difference.
Choose to live.
It’s YOUR turn to stand up and stand out.
“It is nothing to die. It is an awful thing never to have lived.”
~Jean Valjean, Les Miserables
It’s seldom a deliberate action to choose to exist rather than to live. For most of us, we are simply rocked to sleep. But there is no rest in this condition. To slumber and sleep through your dreams is acquiescing to a life of restless nights and unfulfilled days. To avoid the discomfort of fear, doubt, and disappointment, we have deadened ourselves from the exhilaration of a life fully lived.
We all can be troubled by the fear of living lives of insignificance. Somehow we all recognize that to play it safe is to lose the game. By definition, an adventure is “an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity.” In other words, it can come at great risk and significant cost.
You were created for significance and purpose.
If we are going to seize this moment and take a leap, then we must accept the reality that we have no control over countless things. We have zero control over when we die or how we die. Instead, we must take full responsibility for what we do have control over – HOW we choose to live.
Take the leap.
